Lilia Jimenez offers an exploration of the origins of embroidery and garments often associated with Mexico and widely reproduced in global trade. These creations originate from the Nahua communities of Chilac, who have preserved a rich embroidery tradition since colonial times. In this workshop, participants learn the stitches and techniques, while also gaining a deeper appreciation for this important aspect of Mexican cultural heritage.
