Chiaki Dosho offers a workshop inspired by cherry blossom petals dancing in the sky. Participants layer many small pieces of fabric, imagining the shape of sakura petals, then pin and sew them together. Unlike traditional quilting, the focus is on using minimal stitched fabric. The workshop also includes an introduction to free dyeing and drawing with Japanese ink. Participants then learn how to cut and prepare the fabric, as well as essential sewing techniques. This workshop encourages each participant to freely express their own creative world.
