The juried exhibition demonstrates the scope and variety of stitched and layered textiles. Materials range from cotton, wool and silk to paper and cardboard and even shoelaces! Techniques include: hand and machine stitching, appliqué, piecing, breakdown printing, felting, stencilling, cyanotype, discharge dyeing, collage and painting.
