Of Hungarian and Russian origin, Léna Meszaros has been living and creating in France for over 30 years. From contemporary patchwork, she has evolved towards figurative art quilts. Above all, she enjoys telling stories: as a former playwright, she has retained a strong attraction to “staging”. Her works capture suspended time, the ephemeral intensity of the present moment. There is also a strong visual dimension, rich in colors and emotions. Drawn to mixed media, she regularly incorporates paper, plastic, metal, leather, etc. into her works. She has had several solo exhibitions in Europe, and her works travel worldwide through touring exhibitions.
