Léna Meszaros teaches, in this workshop, how to work with organza without sewing, assembling it using a soldering iron. In the first part, participants explore lines and geometric shapes, inspired in particular by cityscapes such as “Amsterdam,” as well as different assembly techniques. In the second part, they move on to more complex forms incorporating curves, which require the use of metal templates. The transparency of organza also allows for creative color layering through overlapping fabrics.
