Léna Meszaros offers, in this workshop, the creation of a small textile art piece by exploring various techniques using embossing metal sheets in aluminum and copper. Participants experiment with drawing patterns using a ballpoint pen, folding, perforating, painting with acrylic and glass paints, sanding, and cutting with a precision cutter. Different arrangements are studied to compose a medieval subject, a landscape, or a simple geometric decorative motif. The worked metal is then applied onto a fabric background using free-motion stitching.
