Irina Malyukova offers, in this workshop, the opportunity to learn how to work with tiny 1” (2.5 cm) clamshell shapes, beautifully showcased in an elegant flex frame glasses case.

Participants develop precision techniques for creating smooth curves and learn how to hand-appliqué clamshells onto a quilted background using Hexiform for added structure and stability.

A clean machine-quilted crosshatch design provides a refined finishing touch to the composition. By the end of the class, participants gain a solid understanding of how to combine traditional English Paper Piecing (EPP) motifs with modern construction techniques.

This workshop is ideal for those wishing to refine their appliqué and finishing skills through a small-scale project.
