Cosabeth Parriaud discovered American quilts at a very young age while living in San Francisco. Her passion for traditional and contemporary patchwork, along with her insatiable curiosity, has guided her in many directions over the years.
Known for her work on color and transparency, her quilts have been featured in major exhibitions in France and abroad: the Carrefour (where she won the Grand Prize in 2002), Quilt Expo, Quilt National, the Heidelberg Triennale, Artextures, and shows such as L’Aiguille en fête and Création Savoir Faire.
She creates numerous projects for specialized magazines and fabric publishers, and in recent years has developed a strong interest in upcycling and reclaimed fabrics.
Cosabeth has been teaching various patchwork techniques in France and internationally since the mid-1980s. Her latest book, Le Patchwork, published by Marabout, was released in October 2022.
Committed to sharing knowledge, it is a book designed both for beginners and for those wishing to improve their skills.
