Mexican textiles and embroideries have always been admired for their vibrant and joyful designs, there vast array of ingenuity and enormous beauty. But there’s much more that meets the eye. In addition to offering financial support to the family (sometimes the sole source), they confer identity, convey and preserve the worldview of each ethnicity. Textiles and embroideries also hold each community’s traditions which have been stamped through generations.
