Val Patch

Val Patch is a local association from the Val d’Argent region (Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines, Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines, Lièpvre, and Rombach-le-Franc), bringing together around twenty passionate quilt enthusiasts. Some members have been quilting for nearly thirty years.

Coming from diverse backgrounds and training traditions, they have developed experience across various textile techniques. This diversity leads them to explore traditional, contemporary, and modern creations, guided by friendship and shared creativity.

Val Patch invites you on a textile journey with many destinations. Dive into the ocean and explore its depths, travel to Japan through sashiko, and make a stop in Iceland to meet Santa Claus. The group also welcomes Belgian friends for an exchange on the theme of sheep and shares techniques with their friends from Emmaüs. Their creative 35 x 35 cm pieces, along with personal works, complete this varied and lively exhibition.
