France Patchwork

Founded in 1984, France Patchwork is the national association dedicated to promoting and developing quilting in France. With nearly 5,000 members in France and internationally, it brings together enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds who share a common ambition: to transmit, share, and advance this demanding and vibrant textile art.

Through its regional branches, friendship days, training programs, publications, and collective projects, the association fosters learning, creativity, and exchange. It supports both beginners and experienced quiltmakers in a spirit of conviviality and high standards. Each year, Carrefour highlights textile creativity and excellence through the France Patchwork competitions, true showcases of its members’ talent and artistic sensitivity. These competitions reflect the vitality of contemporary quilting, balancing tradition with bold artistic exploration.
