Cosabeth Parriaud offers an introduction to recycling and upcycling clothing in order to give garments a second life. Participants learn how to hide a hole or stain using appliqué, or enhance worn clothing by adding fabrics and embroidery, transforming and beautifying their pieces. This approach also contributes to reducing waste and combating fast fashion. Several techniques are explored during the workshop, in a way that is simple, quick, and accessible to all.
