Gabrielle Paquin offers, during this one-day workshop, the creation of a small origami-inspired bag approximately 15 cm high, with a Japanese aesthetic. Two versions are available: one using two different fabrics, and another using three different fabrics, referred to as the harlequin version. This bag does not require an inner lining, as the cutting and assembly process incorporates it directly. It features refined Japanese-inspired details, such as small round pieces applied at the inner base of the loops and on the drawstring cords as finishing elements. Part of the construction is done by machine, but many finishing steps are completed by hand. For those who prefer to avoid machine sewing, a fully hand-sewn option is possible, although it is more time-consuming and may not allow completion within six hours. This bag is a highly decorative piece that often leaves people wondering how it is constructed.
