Levente Sulyok has been sewing for over 20 years, with patchwork as his main creative field for more than 15 years, and has been teaching for nearly as long. For the past four years, he has led the Hungarian Patchwork Guild, where community building and knowledge sharing play an important role. From an early age, he was drawn to visual self-expression: he studied at an art-focused secondary school and later qualified as a goldsmith and enamel artist. He also worked for many years as a florist, which further developed his sensitivity to form, color, and composition. Creative experimentation and the search for innovative solutions are central to his work. He enjoys combining different techniques and continuously seeks new inspiration within textile art, while also placing great importance on collaborative creation and community building.
