Young Quilters Meetup

Saturday, September 19

2 to 5 PM

Awards ceremony (open to the public), followed by workshops for young quilters (ages 5–25) led by the judges of the 5-25 Challenge, Katell Renon and Eva Gustems.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

PatCHquilt  – the Swiss Quilt Guild invites you to join them for a fun and relaxing activity. 

They offer a collection of different games,  entirely made by the guild members  using only fabric!

 Embroidery Demo – Star Loom

Demonstration of a wool embroidery technique that was very popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, using a period metal stencil.

Amish History at the IQM

While out on the street, take a look at these archival photos from the International Quilt Museum at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, alongside the “Amish Reimagined” exhibition on display at the Théâtre.
