As the cradle of the Amish movement, the Val d’Argent has a rich heritage to promote. The latest territorial style book offers a new reading of the area, exploring its naturalness, its textiles and its singular history. In partnership with the City of Nancy, it inspired the composition of the ephemeral recyclable garden to be visited in Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines on Place Keufer, as well as its Australian aboriginal motifs.
We present these creations, the result of experimental creative research co-directed by artistic director Eléonore HAUPTMANN and art historian Clémentine CANU. Their realization mobilized public servants Manuel RUCAR, trend-setter, and Muriel HASSE-COLLIN, textile designer.
