Since the Amish quilts found their way into the wider public 50 years ago, they have been the inspiration for millions ofquilters and textile artists around the world to think and create textile art. The Carrefour also gave them a birthplace 30 years ago.

Hans Zogg is a Swiss collector renowned for his remarkable collection of Amish and Mennonite quilts from the USA. Fascinated by the graphic power and spiritual dimension of these textile works, he has devoted many years to studying, preserving and promoting them.
His collection, one of the largest of its kind in Europe, bears witness to his deep commitment to safeguarding this unique heritage. Through his research, exhibitions and lectures, he is actively helping to raise awareness of the aesthetic and cultural richness of these Anabaptist traditions.
