Fiona Lindsay has always been creative and as a mature student, returned to study textile design . She has always stitched and after study decided that there needed to be a theme running through her designs. Still Life and Florals fitted the bill perfectly.

Fiona Lindsey decided years ago to have a theme running through her work. She’s passionate about sewing, but she also has a love for gardening, so it only made sense that these two interests would come together. Over time, her work has developed into a folk art style, deeply inspired by collage and antique textiles. She now paints and collages in scrapbooks to help free up her design process, but her quilts will always hold a special place in her heart.
