Sarah Hibbert has been a quilter for more than 35 years. She has exhibited in many countries across the globe, and her book From Collage to Quilt has significantly enhanced her international reputation. Her work is often influenced by art and architecture while still acknowledging traditional quilting heritage. Sarah has hosted solo galleries at the Festival of Quilts in the UK, as well as international exhibitions in Spain, France, and South Korea. In 2024, she formed a collaboration with another international quilter, which was also exhibited in a gallery at the Festival of Quilts, UK. Her quilt Reflections was acquired by The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles in 2019 for their permanent collection, representing modern quilting. Sarah has also had two of her recent quilts acquired by The International Quilt Museum in Nebraska, USA. As of July 2023, Sarah has been appointed Ambassador to The Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles, Modern Group.
