The Modern Quilt Guild

Founded to promote and support modern quilting, The Modern Quilt Guild is now the largest international organization dedicated to this contemporary textile movement. With thousands of members worldwide organized in local guilds, it fosters innovation, knowledge sharing, and the development of a distinctly modern quilt aesthetic.

At the center of its activities is QuiltCon, the guild’s annual quilt show and one of the most important events in the modern quilting world. Each edition brings together quilts from around the globe, selected for their creativity, technical excellence, and strong visual impact.

The quilts presented in this exhibition come from QuiltCon 2026 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and reflect the diversity and vitality of contemporary quiltmaking. Through bold compositions, innovative designs, and a distinctive graphic style, they offer a glimpse of the ideas and trends shaping modern quilting today.
