With scissors, fabric scraps, and a thimble in hand since early childhood, she has never stopped creating with her needles. At just eight years old, she transformed an old cabinet into a Barbie house, crafting dresses, trousers, curtains, tablecloths, miniature furniture, and even plates made from recycled juice caps. Everything became an opportunity to invent—always with a special love for textiles.
As a teenager, she began sewing her own clothes—skirts, trousers, jackets inspired by the spirit of the 1980s. Later, when her children were born, she sewed for them, especially for her daughter. In the early 1990s, discovering patchwork was a revelation. The passion has never left her. A few years later, encouraged by friends, she began teaching. Sharing knowledge became central to her practice: learning together, exchanging ideas, and discovering that creativity multiplies when minds come together.
Around 2005, meeting Léa Stansal marked a turning point. After hosting her embroidery-on-patchwork workshops, she later became a teacher of this ribbon embroidery technique herself. Since then, ribbon has remained at the heart of her artistic language.
Exhibiting at Carrefour – the European Quilt Show is a true milestone in her journey.
